Part 1 : verify lipolysis activation

To prove the activation of lipolysis, the concentration of Free Fat Acids (FFA) in blood has been analyzed (before and after the treatment).

Thousands of combinations have been checked with blood sampling analysis. Results prove that the concentration of FFA in blood is doubled after a treatment at a frequency of 517 KHz and intensity in between 5 to 110 mW/cm².

No other combination has confirmed any significant increase of FFA in blood.

Part 2 : explain lipolysis activation

It is well known that lipolysis is triggered by hormones such as noradrenaline (NA). By micro-dialysis method, we observed that local concentration of NA was also doubled in white adipose tissue after 10 minutes treatment.

Part 3 : what happens during and after NARL treatment ?

Further studies to evaluate NA and FFA growth/decay during and after NARL treatment have been conducted. This brought us to the conclusion that:

• 10 minutes of NARL treatment enable the local release of NA on the treated area. Up to 10 minutes sonication is useless.
  
  
• FFA concentration increase in blood is doubled and observed within 70 minutes.
  
  
• NARL treatment can be done during 10 minutes per location, and multi-location treatment is possible within 40-50 minutes. Released FFA must be burned within 70 min after the treatment.
